I was a juror in a civil case a long time ago. The prosecutor wanted us to discount the testimony of SWIM because SWIM was fired for testing positive for cannabis. It was ridiculous because he wasn't intoxicated during the necessary time of employment. So the implication was that SWIM was untrustworthy simply for possession of an illicit substance. Fortunately this was called out by the defense. Unbelievable nonsense.
